This guide explains how looting and progression work on EndPoint Games. It covers what you start with, how loot tiers are structured, where to find high-value gear, and how the server environment is tuned to support PvP-focused gameplay.
Starting Gear and Early Survival
When you spawn, you are not helpless. Every player starts with basic equipment designed to let you survive immediately and move inland without relying on luck.
You spawn with:
- Canned bacon
- Water bottle
- Knife
- Bandage
- Modified starter clothing: 36 inventory slots and Proper insulation for Chernarus weather
This setup allows you to:
- Travel inland immediately
- Survive environmental conditions
- Focus on looting and PvP instead of micromanaging survival stats
Upgraded clothing can only be found in military areas and provides:
- 42 inventory slots
- Improved durability
Server Environment and Survival Tweaks
The server environment is intentionally modified to reduce survival grind and increase player interaction.
Weather
- Locked to sunny
- No prolonged rain or storms
Night cycle
- Night time lasts 15 minutes
- Darkness exists but does not stall gameplay
Survival modifiers
- Hunger is slowed
- Thirst is slowed
- Tuned for PvP-focused gameplay rather than hardcore survival
Equipment durability
- Boots are significantly more durable
- Reduced need for constant footwear replacement during movement and combat
These changes allow players to stay active, mobile, and combat-ready for longer periods.
Loot Tier System
Loot on the server is divided into 6 clearly defined tiers. Higher tiers mean better rewards, higher risk, and stricter requirements.
Tier 1 – Coast (Low Tier)
- Coastal towns and villages
- Civilian weapons
- Basic food and survival items
- Low-tier clothing and backpacks
Additional features:
- Many custom military micro-locations on the coast
- Early access to weapons without forcing players deep inland
Designed for:
- Fresh spawns
- Fast gearing
- Immediate PvP opportunities
Tier 2 – Inland (Improved Tier)
- Inland villages and towns
- Better civilian and police weapons
- More consistent medical supplies
- Entry-level armor
Designed for:
- Transitioning from coast to military gameplay
- Preparing for Tier 3–4 zones
Tier 3–4 – Mid Tier Progression
- Military bases and checkpoints
- Police stations
- Mid to higher-tier weapons
- Armor, attachments, and better ammunition
Additional mechanics:
- Loot boxes can spawn
- These boxes contain Tier 5 armors
Tier 3–4 is the main progression layer for most players and groups.
Custom Military Locations
Across the entire map, including coastal areas, there are:
- 100+ custom small military locations
These locations:
- Spawn weapons and military loot
- Reduce travel downtime
- Increase organic PvP encounters
- Make early and mid-game gearing more consistent
They are intentionally spread to prevent single hotspot dominance.
Additionally we have reworked areas like Balota Airfield, Krasnostav Airfield, Kamensk Military Base, VMC and Tisy with more buildings and better loot values to promote pvp.
Tier 5 – Radiation Zones (High Tier)
Radiation Zones contain only high-tier loot and are extremely dangerous.
Locations
- Pavlovo Military Base
- Rify Shipwreck
- Oil Rig (Custom location accessible with helis or boats only marked on the map under balota)
Loot includes
- High-tier weapons
- .308 weapons
- Rare .338 weapons
- Explosives and advanced ammunition
- Punched Cards exclusive spawns
Entry requirement
- Full NBC suit
Without full NBC protection, entry is lethal.
Tier 6 – Bunker (Endgame Tier)
The bunker contains the highest-tier loot available on the server.
Loot includes
- Only .338 weapons
- .408 and .50 cal ammunition
- 100+ round magazines
- Anti-material weapons (Tappers)
Entry requirements
- Full NBC suit
- Punched card
- NVGs or a reliable light source
The bunker is designed as a high-risk, high-reward endgame zone.
Check our Armor and Weapons Tier Guide for more information here.
Locked Loot Crates and Black Keys
Certain high-value areas contain locked loot crates.
Tier 3–4 crates
- Contain Tier 5 armor
Tier 6 bunker crates
- .408 weapons
- .50 cal weapons
- Anti-material weapons
To open any crate you need:
- Black Key
Key rules
- Black Keys are universal
- Any key opens any crate
- Keys are consumed on use
Use them strategically.
Container loot refreshes after server restart.
Obtaining Black Keys
Black Keys can be obtained from:
- AirDrops
- Player-activated hidden stashes
AirDrops are highly contested and dangerous, especially for solo players. An alternative progression path exists to balance risk.
AirDrops
AirDrops are high-risk, high-reward world events designed to accelerate progression and create intense PvP encounters.
AirDrops are announced globally with a random interval start. The exact drop location is revealed 5 minutes before the AirDrop lands to prevent pre-camping and static ambush setups.
AirDrop Loot Pools
Each AirDrop rolls one of three exclusive loot pools:
Base Building
- Large quantities of base building materials
- Large quantities of .308 ammunition
- Storage lockers
- Items intended to speed up large-scale base progression
- Chance to contain C4 or parts to assemble explosives.
- Change to contain a Black key
Medical
- Exclusive Medical syringes that can: Refill HP, Restore blood, Fix broken bones, Cure diseases
- Advanced medical support items for sustained PvP
- Large amount of .308 ammunition
- Random NBC Gear parts
- Chance to contain C4 or parts to assemble explosives.
- Change to contain a Black key
Military
- Guaranteed fully-specced high-tier .308/.338 weapons
- .308 and .338 weapons
- .308 and .338 ammunition
- Chance to contain C4 or parts to assemble explosives.
- Change to contain a Black key
AirDrops always contain items that cannot be found through normal map looting.
AI Defense and Access Rules
AirDrops are heavily defended and cannot be claimed easily.
Defensive mechanics:
- Large numbers of infected spawn around the drop
- Wild animals such as wolves and bears also spawn
- The area becomes extremely dangerous even without player interference
Important restrictions:
- AI cannot be killed with vehicles
- AI must be killed using firearms
- You must eliminate the majority of the defending AI before the crate becomes openable
PvP Hot Zones
AirDrops are:
- Highly sought after by players
- Major PvP flashpoints
- Designed to force movement, conflict, and decision-making
They are intended to:
- Speed up progression
- Reward coordination and firepower
- Punish careless or underprepared players
Approach AirDrops with planning, ammunition, and backup.
Hidden Stash System
The hidden stash system allows controlled, player-driven loot access.
PC Assembly
To gather all needed parts to assemble a PC you need:
- Screwdriver
Static PCs can be searched in:
- Houses
- Police stations
- Military areas
Possible parts:
- PC case
- Monitor
- Mouse
- Keyboard
- Motherboard
- CPU
- RAM
- HDD with OS (Yellow)
Once assembled, the PC needs either a car/truck batter or heli power module combined with a metal to become operational.
Decryption Disks and Stashes
After PC assembly, you can search for decryption disks.
Disk types (found in Radiation Zones):
- City (Red)
- Police (Blue)
- Army (Green)
Decrypting a disk will:
- Reveal a hidden stash location on the map
- Make it visible only to you and your group
- Start a limited-time loot window
Requirements
- Shovel to dig up the stash
Stash rewards (Similar to AirDrops)
- City: Base building materials
- Police: Explosives and medical items
- Army: Weapons and explosives
All stash types have a chance to drop a Black Key.
Note that PC parts take damage when operating, don't forget to turn off your PC as soon as you get the Stash location.
Final Notes
Looting on EndPoint is designed to be:
- Fast-paced
- PvP-focused
- Rewarding without excessive grind
Survival mechanics support combat rather than slow it down.
Risk scales with reward at every tier.
Plan your progression, control your engagements, and loot with purpose.
